Menu planning makes it easier to save money, have less waste on grocery items and overall makes life easier and more efficient. It’s easy to sit down in one night and create a plan for what you want to have for the upcoming week. I usually plan a couple of weeks out. This makes it easier to recycle a menu a few weeks later.
Here’s a fun Menu Planning Printable to use to help you menu plan. It can be sized to fit any planner, but was made for an A5 or larger. The spaces are larger to help make planning easier (for instance if you need to remind yourself to thaw the meat, or pick up carrots, or … you get it.) It’s also enough space to write a recipe if you needed to.
Often I will separate each day into three sections so I can plan breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is perfect for school year menu planning when my time is much less.
